World’s First SCIO Device Rental Programme

We’re delighted to be launching the world’s first-ever home hire programme for SCIO devices. In contrast to other use-at-home devices on the market such as the Dr. Hulda Clark Zapper or the Acti-Patch PEMF Pad, the devices we work with face a bit more of a challenge in their accessibility out of clinic. This is due to their large price tag and steep learning curve: It takes approximately three years of studying and hands-on training to be a fully qualified expert using the SCIO device.

After many difficult lock-downs in response to COVID-19, and the gradual reintegration following the UK-wide vaccination programme, we have developed the first-ever Home Hire Programme for SCIO devices as a solution for the challenges facing accessibility to SCIO devices:

  • Affordability — Many people in need of PEMF therapy cannot afford to purchase a device of their own, given that most devices cost between £5,500-£20,000. If a person is chronically ill, on benefits due to ill health and job loss, or financially struggling, then making such a large purchase is simply out of the question.

That’s why we’ve made it possible to rent these devices by the month.

  • Accessibility — Many patients drive up from Cornwall and Devon or drive over from Wales. A car journey lasting more than three hours is extremely difficult for people with chronic illness, bladder issues, or impaired health due to chemotherapy, radiation therapy or other medical interventions. Even for children the long drives and traffic on the motorway can be a nearly impossible challenge in the heat of summer.

That’s why we’ve made it possible to rent a device and use it in the comfort of your own home.

  • Hygiene — In the event of another COVID-19 variant or possibly even a worse germ to come, for example an air-borne virus with a prion or bacterium attached — lockdown restrictions would become more severe and travel for any medical condition that isn’t an emergency might be prohibited. We also understand that reintegration following the COVID-19 Pandemic can be daunting for some. The safest thing to do is to then rely upon telehealth, health appointments via video calls and phone calls with a therapy device at home that your whole family can use.

That’s why we’ve made it easy to receive your SCIO therapy device in the post and get set up at home with training videos and live video conferencing.

  • Practicality — As need for our therapy services increases, we might struggle to keep up with demand: Training new therapists takes time, and our current staff are already spread thin with the time it takes to drive into the clinic and thoroughly clean between appointments. By offering telehealth appointments, therapists can remotely control the PEMF device through any computer with an internet connection. We also have an extensive network of qualified therapists to help in the case of staff shortages. You will then become a part of a caring, informative community that you can rely on for all your Electro-Magnetic Therapy needs.

We can help more people when our therapists safely work from home, and we can easily hire on extra staff when needs increase by reaching out to a broader, global community of qualified and licensed therapists.

  • Electrode harness to wear on the head, wrists and ankles
  • Hard-sided protective case for the equipment
  • Cleaning materials and setup guides

What Tiers of Support Do We Offer?

We currently offer two tiers of support regarding our rental scheme.

Tier 1 – Basic – £499 a month.

  • SCIO Device and Work Laptop Provided
  • Basic Setup & Training Videos to Understand Scan Results
  • Access to All Video Tutorials for Specific Treatments (e.g. Eczema or Allergies)
  • Tech Support from Manufacturer
  • Support from NCET’s UK-Based Staff
  • 50% off Weekly Live Training Sessions

Tier 2 – Comprehensive – £599 a month.

  • SCIO Device and Work Laptop Provided
  • Basic Setup & Training Videos to Understand Scan Results
  • Access to All Video Tutorials for Specific Treatments (e.g. Eczema or Allergies)
  • Tech Support from Manufacturer
  • Support from NCET’s UK-Based Staff
  • FREE Weekly Live Training Sessions
  • Twice Monthly Hour-Long Sessions via AnyDesk with a Lead Practitioner of your choice. Sessions can be recorded for patients to re-create and follow at home.

Important Information About Applying For A Device

  1. Both of our rental tiers have a refundable deposit of £200.
  2. Our rental scheme is only available in the UK.
  3. We will require identification to verify your application for a SCIO device. We accept passports, driving licenses, and any other accepted forms of identification.
  4. Your sensitive data is protected under our GDPR Policy & Privacy Policy. We have Stripe for identification verification and payment processing. We will also be able to process any necessary documents through us directly by contacting admin@ncet.co.uk.
